Solidlights are sold from the UK by Martin-Jones Technology Ltd, a UK limited company. The company complies with UK consumer law including the Distance Selling Regulations. Our terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

postage and delivery
Orders are normally sent by Royal Mail. For UK order values less than about £50, First Class post is used. For UK order values more than £50, Royal Mail Special Delivery is normally used, which requires a signature on delivery.
For export orders, an additional postage charge is payable: order code 99998 for EU countries, and 99997 for the rest of the world. Export orders are normally sent using Air Mail for small orders, and Royal Mail Airsure (where available: to Andorra, Austria, Azores, Balearic Islands, Belgium, Canary Islands, Corsica, Denmark, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Madeira, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Slovak Republic, Spain, Spitzbergen, Sweden, Switzerland, USA and New Zealand) or International Signed For.
All prices quoted are in pounds sterling. Martin-Jones Technology Ltd is registered for VAT in the UK. Its VAT registration number is 901 9703 37. Prices in the online shop include VAT at 15%.
Payments for online orders are processed using PayPal, so Martin-Jones Technology Ltd never sees your payment details.
Payment for telephone, email or written orders can be made in the following ways:
- credit or debit card
- cheque drawn in Pounds Sterling on a UK bank account
- bank transfer - please contact us for the account details, or see your invoice
We aim to dispatch items shown as 'in stock' within 2 weeks.
Items shown as 'available for pre-order' are normally built to order which may take up to 6 weeks.
Items shown as 'out of stock' can still be ordered but will be dispatched when they become available.
In all cases you can contact us to find out more about your order either before or after placing it.
All Solidlights products are covered by a two year guarantee from date of purchase. Should you have a problem with your Solidlights product, please start by contacting us and we will work with you to resolve the problem. If necessary, we will repair or replace items at our discretion.
Normal wear and tear is not covered by this guarantee. Batteries, in particular, will show a gradual, small decrease in performance over hundreds of charge/discharge cycles. Above all, if you think there's a problem, please contact us and we'll do our best to help.
